This publication is composed of a range of explorations for designing alphabet systems. Based on a set of self-designated parameters, each contributor applied, tested, and developed an alphabet investigating how visual system and language can define new contexts for meaning. Orbits is a typeface inspired by the movement of celestial bodies in relation to each other. It is made up of a handful of orbital shapes viewed from different positions in three dimensional space.
