This printmaking series, “flower photos from my phone”, pairs abstract gouache illustration with digital printmaking to explore vision, memory, and nostalgia. It is an exploration of how we map our lives through our memories, even as we alter and re-alter them. It is an attempt to depict the way memories get reshaped with time. Pieces from the series appeared in a solo exhibition at the 1369 Gallery in Cambridge and at group exhibitions in Brooklyn, NY and Providence, RI. One piece was also reproduced locally as part of Zone 3’s Art in Print program.
